美国科学院中国籍院士中医言论选
当选美国国家科学院(United States National Academy of Sciences, NAS)外籍院士的中国籍学者至今有11位，当选美国医学科学院（Institute of Medicine，IOM）外籍院士的中国籍学者至今有2位。其中几位曾经对中医发表过看法的，谨列如下：
中医药科学是世界生命科学最有可能取得重大突破的领域。中医药的理念、方法符合现代医学的发展方向。
——周光召，理论物理学家，1987年当选美国国家科学院外籍院士
中医是古老的科学，有非常重要的作用，应该发掘、应该研究、应该发扬光大。但是，任何科学技术都要与时俱进，中医也不例外。
——巴德年，免疫学家，1999年当选美国医学科学院外籍院士
中医有望对医学模式带来深远影响。用现代生物学手段，用中医原始和质朴的、讲究整体、注重变化为特色的治未病和辨证施治理念来研究亚健康以及慢性复杂性疾病，是东西方两种认知力量的汇聚，是现代医学向更高境界提升和发展的一种必然性趋势。
——陈竺，分子生物学家，2003年当选美国国家科学院外籍院士，2007年当选美国医学科学院外籍院士
过去几年港大正积极推进正规中医大学本科教育，在校内成立中医药学院及开展全日制的中医全科学士课程，令中医教育更具规模，也更系统化。港大在推动中医药教育方面所作的努力是有目共睹的。中医必须具临床技能，要有培训中心让学生见习与实习基本技能，中区教研中心提供不可缺少的见习机会，令学生紧接理论课程後便有见习，达致「理论见证於实践」，令毕业生能学以致用。
——徐立之，分子遗传学家，2004年当选美国国家科学院外籍院士

——白春礼，物理化学家，2006年当选美国国家科学院外籍院士
美国国家科学院和美国医学科学院是伪科学窠臼，凸显反中医任重而道远。
